Dr. Justin Garner

Dr. Justin Garner has been proudly serving patients near Blue Springs since 2008 with a simple but powerful philosophy: helping people get their oral health back on track and keeping it there for life. For him, dentistry is all about creating connections, whether that’s between families, friends, or our dental team.

As he tells it, his career in dentistry really began in high school, when an accident left him with broken front teeth. After seeing his smile restored to better-than-new, he was inspired to become a dentist himself, so he could give others the same life-changing feeling he experienced.

Dr. Garner earned his chemistry degree at Austin Peay State University before graduating from the UMKC School of Dentistry in 2007. He then went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Michigan.

Always looking to grow, Dr. Garner has pursued advanced dental implant education through the gIDE Implant Master Program, Live Implant Training (LIT), and his membership in the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He’s also a certified Silver Level Invisalign provider and a proud member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Outside the office, Dr. Garner is all about family. He’s the middle child of three siblings and part of a close-knit extended family that gathers often around his great-grandmother’s home. When he’s not spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, you’ll likely find him cheering on his favorite football teams at home.

Why Do You Need A Dentist Near Blue Springs?

I Need A Checkup & Cleaning

In conjunction with an excellent at-home oral hygiene routine, regular preventive dental checkups and cleanings are the best way to protect your teeth and gums, so they last a lifetime. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends you visit Dr. Garner every six months to ensure your mouth stays healthy and strong. At these appointments, we’ll clean away built-on plaque deposits, check for any emerging problems, screen you for oral cancer, and update your X-rays as needed.

I Want To Enhance My Smile

Do you have flaws in your smile that leave you feeling embarrassed or insecure? Don’t hide your gorgeous grin, enhance it with cosmetic dentistry treatment. Dr. Garner is proud to offer a variety of smile improving procedures that can correct many aesthetic dental issues, including the shape, size, spacing, and shade of your teeth.

I Have a Cavity/Broken Tooth

Cavities and broken teeth can be painful and embarrassing. If you are suffering from tooth pain and damage, don’t wait until your regular checkup to get help. Contact us today to schedule an appointment to bring back your gorgeous, pain-free grin so you can smile, speak, and enjoy eating a full diet once again.

I Am Missing One Or More Teeth

Missing permanent teeth can cause more problems than simple aesthetics. It can make it difficult to eat, speak clearly, and smile confidently. It can even negatively affect your employment, and self-confidence, increasing feelings of isolation, sadness, and depression. Don’t let gaps in your arches prevent you from enjoying your favorite foods and living your best life. Schedule a consultation today to discuss your tooth replacement options.

I Want To Straighten My Smile

Crooked teeth or a bad bite can make your teeth look unattractive. It can also make it harder to keep your mouth clean, increasing your risk of developing cavities and gum disease.  That’s why Dr. Garner is proud to offer Invisalign. This discreet orthodontic treatment allows you to maintain a professional appearance while straightening your smile faster and more comfortably than with traditional braces. In fact, because your Invisalign aligners are easily removable for meals and oral hygiene care, there are no dietary restrictions like there are with traditional braces, either! To schedule a consultation and get a straighter, more beautiful smile in less time, contact us today for an Invisalign consultation today.

I Am in Pain & Need Help

Having a dental emergency can be very stressful and scary, especially when you don’t know where to turn. Worse yet, dental emergencies don’t always happen when you have a dental appointment already booked. That’s why Dr. Garner is proud to offer same-day emergency appointments for patients suffering from dental emergencies, as well as urgent weekend appointments for those unexpected surprises that can’t wait until regular business hours. We even have sedation options for those who need a little extra help getting comfortable during their appointment. If you’re suffering from an urgent dental emergency, please call us directly for fastest service and we’ll take care of the rest!

I Am Nervous/Scared Of The Dentist

It is estimated that nearly half of all adults have some level of dental fear or anxiety. Unfortunately, while this is very common, it can be very dangerous, too. That’s because in some cases, it can cause patients to avoid necessary dental care such as their preventive checkups and cleanings and even more involved restorative or emergency treatment. Dr. Garner understands this, and wants you to have a pleasant experience, no matter which treatment you’re receiving. That’s why he’s proud to offer sedation dentistry options to help keep you feeling calm and comfortable during your visit with us. To learn more about this treatment and to see if you qualify, give us a call before your upcoming visit.

Three Ways We Make Dental Care More Affordable

Some patients who are worried about affording the required or desired services hesitate to schedule an appointment and then miss out on potentially smile-saving procedures. But Dr. Garner and the rest of our team near Blue Springs believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care, regardless of their current financial circumstances. Continue reading below to learn more about how our practice helps make treatments more affordable.

We Welcome Dental Insurance

At our office near Blue Springs, we are considered in-network with several major dental insurance providers, including GEHA, BlueCross Blue Shield, MetLife, Humana, Delta Dental, Cigna, and United Concordia.

Many of these plans often cover up to 100% of routine preventive care, such as exams, cleanings, and X-rays, as well as an additional 50% to 80% of other treatments needed to protect, repair, or restore your smile. Our friendly office staff is happy to assist with any claims or paperwork to help you maximize any available benefits.

We Happily Accept Flexible Financing

If you’re uninsured and are concerned about affording your dental appointment, we have your back! Our team also gladly accepts flexible payment packages through third-party financers, such as CareCredit, Sunbit, and Cherry.

If your application is approved, these no- to low-interest options allow you to divide the total cost of your visit into more manageable installments that are paid over a designated period, which can be easier on your budget. Even better, there are no waiting periods, annual deductions, or other restrictions that often accompany more traditional insurance plans.

We Have an In-House Membership Plan

If you’re looking for other ways to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for dental care near Blue Springs, you might benefit from our in-house membership club. For a flat monthly fee, you gain access to routine cleanings, examinations, fluoride treatments, and X-rays once or twice annually. You also receive additional discounts on other treatments or services that we offer, though some exclusions may apply.
